Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Melo Studio games and apps collect, use, and protect user information.

By using our games or apps, you agree to the processing of information in accordance with this policy.

Data processing is based on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with the user (account, online gameplay, rankings), consent where required (personalized advertising, iOS advertising tracking), and the legitimate interests of the controller to ensure the security and proper functioning of the service.

1. Information We Collect

Melo Studio games and apps may collect and store certain information necessary to provide their features, including:

  • Account data when the user signs in or creates an account.
  • Display name, avatar, or profile information configured by the user.
  • Scores, statistics, rankings, and in-game progress.
  • Information related to online features, such as rooms, matches, connection status, players, turns, and game state.
  • Technical data necessary for operation, security, and error diagnosis.

Our games and apps do not request personal information that is not necessary for their operation.

2. Use of Information

The information is used to:

  • Enable sign-in and account management.
  • Create and manage matches, rooms, or online features.
  • Display rankings, scores, and statistics.
  • Improve the operation and stability of our services.
  • Maintain the security of the service.
  • Show ads, where applicable.

3. Third-Party Services

Our games and apps may use third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies:

  • Google (Google Sign-In, Google Play Services)
  • Google AdMob
  • Apple (Sign in with Apple) — iOS only
  • Supabase

You can review their privacy policies here:

Some of these services may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States) under appropriate transfer mechanisms pursuant to the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

4. Advertising and Consent

Some Melo Studio games or apps may display ads through Google AdMob.

Where required, the relevant game or app may request consent for personalized or non-personalized ads. Users may change their privacy or consent preferences from within the game or app when this option is available.

On iOS devices, games may request permission for advertising tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If the user grants permission, personalized ads may be shown. If denied, only non-personalized ads will be displayed. This preference can be changed at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iOS device.

5. Account Deletion

When a game or app includes user accounts, users can delete their account from within the game or app.

When an account is deleted, account data, profile, scores, and associated online data are removed. Minimal technical records required for security, abuse prevention, or diagnostics may be retained for up to 90 additional days.

6. Account and data deletion

In games or apps that include user accounts, users can delete their account from inside the relevant game or app by going to Account > Delete account, or through the equivalent option available.

If you no longer have access to the game or app, you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing info@melostudio.es from the email address linked to your account and including the name of the relevant game or app.

We will delete account data, game profile data, scores, progress, online room or feature data associated with the user, and authentication data, unless we are legally required to keep limited information.

7. User Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national law, users have the right to:

  • Access: obtain confirmation as to whether their data is being processed and access to that data.
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Data portability: receive their data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Restriction: request that the processing of their data be restricted in certain circumstances.
  • Objection: object to the processing of their data on grounds relating to their particular situation.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@melostudio.es.

Our games and apps are not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information, they may contact us to request its deletion.
